KYRIE & SANCTUS (FROM MISSA BREVIS #2)

These two movements create a wonderful performance entity for concert use, or may be combined with the separate Benedictus and Agnus Dei (08752842) for liturgical use. Opening with a mysterious and undulating pattern in the Kyrie, it unfolds into a more full-voiced and lyrical tutti. The Sanctus movement opens with excited anticipation and builds into a lively and rhythmic Hosanna.
